How We Calculate This
This calculator determines conduit bend dimensions, marking positions, and total conduit length for common bend types used in electrical installation.
Bend Types
- 90° bend: Gain = bend radius. Total = leg A + leg B - gain
- 45° bend: Used for gentle direction changes
- Offset: Travel = offset ÷ sin(angle). Two bends.
- Saddle: Three bends to clear an obstacle
- Kick-back: Small set to bring conduit off a surface
Minimum Bend Radii
- 16mm conduit: 50mm radius
- 20mm conduit: 75mm radius
- 25mm conduit: 100mm radius
- 32mm conduit: 125mm radius
