This calculator determines the number of zinc sheets needed by dividing the roof width by the cover width (sheet width minus seam allowance).
The formula
Cover width = Sheet width − Seam allowance
Number of sheets = Roof width ÷ Cover width
Clips = Sheets × (Sheet length ÷ Clip spacing)
