How it works
- Travel distance: Checked against AD B Vol 2 Table 2.1 (non-dwellings) or AD B Vol 1 Table 3.1 (common areas of flats), by building type and escape directions.
- Corridor width: AD B Vol 2 Table 2.3, based on the occupancy served.
- Stairway: Minimum width from AD B Vol 2 Table 3.1; number of escape routes from Table 2.2.
- Inner rooms / dead ends: Checked against AD B Section 2 and para 2.28.
